The event reinforces its position as the leading functional ingredients event for the food, beverage and dietary supplement industries.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

On April 15th and 16th, the 5th edition of NIS \u2013 Nutri Ingredients Summit will take place at the Transam\u00e9rica Expo Center in S\u00e3o Paulo. This is a leading event on functional ingredients for the industry with a focus on health, whose main pillars are innovation, content and business generation.<\/p>\n

And this commemorative edition offers plenty of reasons to celebrate. For five years, the event has broken exhibitor records year after year, with a 50% increase compared to the last edition in 2024. There will be approximately 110 exhibitors, including 30 new companies, and the expectation is to welcome more than 6,000 visitors and 600 delegates over the two-day event.<\/p>\n

"We are very pleased with this result and with the demand from major companies participating in the event for the first time. Our unique feature is having as exhibitors the vast majority of global ingredient manufacturers, in addition to distributors, who account for around 95% of the market share in this segment," commented Adriano Pegorelli, Co-founder of NIS. "Professionals seeking innovative solutions for their developments will certainly find them at NIS," Pegorelli added.<\/p>\n

The central theme of this year's conferences outlines how functional ingredients can boost the self-care and healthy eating market, with an eye to the future, featuring gymnast and Olympic medalist Rebeca Andrade as the opening keynote.<\/p>\n

"Each year, we strive to reinvent ourselves to bring more current, innovative, and relevant content to NIS Conference attendees. This year's theme was designed to encompass and attract professionals from all levels and industries that use functional ingredients as key elements in their R&D processes," explains Cassiano Facchinetti, Co-founder of NIS. "Today's consumers are increasingly seeking high-quality, high-performance products, consuming foods, supplements, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, etc., to stay healthier. All of this is self-care and is part of the NIS concept," concluded Facchinetti.<\/p>\n

The NIS Conference will have four core modules: sports nutrition, mental health, product development, and regulatory affairs, with a multidisciplinary program and renowned speakers, with the special participation of ANVISA's General Manager of Food, Patr\u00edcia Castilho, as well as representatives of associations, executives from exhibiting companies, and guests.<\/p>\n

To complement this schedule, the event also features NIS Application Trends, a parallel auditorium, which offers a robust program with more than 30 free presentations on new ingredients and solutions, given by exhibitors.<\/p>\n

And to literally cap off this grand celebration, the 3rd edition of the NIS Golden A\u00e7a\u00ed Award will take place, recognizing companies and professionals who invest in research and development to launch innovative products. The NIS Award is divided into six categories: functional and healthy food, functional and healthy beverage, dietary supplement, isolated ingredient, applied ingredient, and sustainable packaging. The winners will be announced at a grand party on the first night of the event.<\/p>\n
