How to combine exercise during the pandemic?

If before the Coronavirus we already had a series of excuses to justify our sedentary lifestyle, imagine now!

Parks closed on weekends, masks, and fear of contagion are some of the new obstacles, buuuut…

Get up, dust yourself off, and go. Even in the face of difficulties, leave idleness aside and get moving.

Recent studies suggest that even a single workout can increase and improve our ability to fight viruses and bacteria. Furthermore, research also indicates that the type and amount of exercise can influence our immune responses. Not to mention that a physical exercise routine, even at home, is essential for relieving stress and maintaining our mental health.

 

Check out some essential tips and enjoy all the benefits that exercise can do for you:

  • Forget the famous parks – try exercising in that little square in the neighborhood.
  • Use public facilities, but sanitize them before and after.
  • Go by bike! But always cycle on cycle paths or cycle lanes.
  • Ensure hydration: carry a bottle of water with you.
  • Don't want to take the risk? Move around at home. The internet is full of home workout videos. Google it!
  • Wear a mask. It's important for your protection and that of others.
  • And don't forget Bial's advice: use sunscreen!
