Sao Paulo, April 2025 – On April 15th and 16th, the MasterSense, a food design company specializing in supplying ingredients and flavors for the food and beverage industry, will be present at the fifth edition of NIS (Nutrition Ingredients Summit), the industry's leading event focused on functional ingredients and health. Held at the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo, the event will bring together the market's leading innovations.

With an innovative proposal, the company will transform its booth (4-25) into the "Fantastic Creations Laboratory," an immersive space that aims to challenge industry standards and inspire new possibilities. The highlight will be Protein Pesto, a prototype developed especially for NIS, representing the co-creation process with partner companies. Inspired by the classic Italian sauce, the savory protein bar seeks to expand the horizons of sports nutrition.

With 17g of protein and 11g of fiber, Protein Pesto emerges as a new offering for the sector. "Our goal is to expand the possibilities of this segment. Protein Pesto was created for those seeking performance but wanting to move away from traditional sweet flavors. The product is part of Collab., MasterSense's own brand dedicated to experimentation and innovation. Through this creative platform, the company develops formulations for various segments, such as beverages, dairy, confectionery, bakery, snacks, and specialized nutrition. Collab. prototypes demonstrate the performance of MasterSense ingredients in practice, facilitating their application in the development of innovative products.

In addition to Protein Pesto, the company will showcase other prototypes developed through Coollab. "Our unique selling point is transforming innovative concepts into tangible solutions. The market demands agility, and our team is dedicated to creating products that combine technology, health, indulgence, and sensory experience," Minami emphasizes.

With the functional food market booming in Brazil, driven by increasingly demanding consumers, MasterSense reaffirms its role as a strategic partner for brands seeking innovation. In 2025, NIS will grow 50% compared to the previous edition, bringing together approximately 110 exhibitors, including 30 new companies, and expects to attract more than 6,000 visitors and 600 delegates.

The event will feature four core conference modules—sports nutrition, mental health, product development, and regulatory affairs—featuring renowned speakers such as Patrícia Castilho, General Manager of Food at ANVISA. Additionally, NIS Application Trends will offer more than 30 free presentations on new ingredients and solutions, with gymnast and Olympic medalist Rebeca Andrade as the opening keynote speaker.
